We meet every Tuesday morning from 10am - 11.30am. We welcome mums, dads, grandparents, au pairs, nannies and other carers who have children under school age. It is a chance for the tots to have fun playing, singing songs and making crafts, whilst their carers can relax, chat, enjoy a cuppa and meet friends. We meet at St Peter’s, Claybrooke Parva, Leicestershire. We meet in the church itself, where there is a large play space for the tots.
We currently welcome parents and tots from Claybrooke Magna,
Claybrooke Parva, Ullesthorpe, Ashby Parva, Bitteswell, Frolesworth, Leire,
Broughton Astley and Lutterworth.
We charge £1 per family per week to cover our refreshment costs, to buy toys, to fund our craft activities and buy birthday/Christmas presents. We have a large range of toys and books for children of all ages from babies to pre-schoolers, which can also be taken home as part of our Toy Library Service for as little as 20p per week. We have an annual party at Christmas when we expect a special guest .......... We hold a very popular fundraising event every Spring. This helps to subsidise a summer trip or party. For purposes of safety and security we keep a register of all parents and tots who attend. Parents/carers are expected to take responsibility for supervising their own children throughout the session. We are not qualified to care for children, so parents/carers should not leave the church area without their children.
